LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty applies to our new upholstered furniture and is extended only to the consumer who makes the original purchase. Additionally, this warranty applies under conditions of normal household uses and does not apply to defects resulting from negligence, misuse, accident or commercial usage. All implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranties on this product. The warranties and remedies set forth in this limited warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, express or implied. In no event will we be liable to you for any damages, including incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the inability to use this product. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

FRAMES AND SPRINGS - LIFETIME

Smart crafted kiln-dried hardwood construction and tempered 8 gauge spring support system are warranted against breakage due to defective material of faulty workmanship during the lifetime of the original owner.

CUSHIONS – FIVE (5) YEARS

Cushions are warranted for five (5) years from the date of original retail purchase against loss of resiliency. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with a slight softening and flattening that will occur as a result of normal use and aging.

MECHANISMS – ONE (1) YEAR

We warrant the sleeper mechanisms to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original purchase.

UPHOLSTERY FABRIC

We do not warranty upholstery fabric. Any warranties given by the fabric mills or upholstery fiber manufacturers are separate agreements with the retail customer, and are not covered by the limited lifetime warranty of Mike Cims Incorporated.

WARNING

The chemicals involved in these after market (protectors) and their application can often change the characteristics of certain fabrics causing yarn fatigue, backing failure as well as dye lot color changes.
  • W/S: Spot clean, with a mild solvent, and upholstery shampoo, or the foam from a mild detergent. Always pretest a small area before proceeding.
  • W: Spot clean, using the foam only from a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or non-solvent upholstery shampoo product. Always pretest a small area before proceeding.
  • S: Spot clean, using a mild water-free solvent or dry cleaning product. Always pretest a small area before proceeding.

SERVICE POLICY

Should service under this warranty be necessary, the purchaser must contact the authorized dealer of purchase. It will be determined by our company representative whether repair or exchange will be necessary. Any charges incurred in obtaining repairs are to be borne by the customer such as freight, postage or insurance. This warranty will not cover burns, tears, soilage, freight damage, mishandling, deliberate abuse or accidents of any type.
